That is why the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences and a number of companies are now breaking new ground to draw attention to transport and traffic studies at TU Dresden and attract the best young talents to study in Dresden: By means of 2-year scholarships from the very first semester of the Master's course. The aim is to support particularly talented applicants who are expected to achieve outstanding academic and professional results.

In addition to IKOS Consulting Deutschland GmbH, the next company to financially support such a scholarship at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transportation Sciences in order to actively shape its own engineering and specialist requirements is Rail Power Systems GmbH, based in Munich. The scholarship, which is financed by RPS and announced by the faculty, will be awarded for 24 months to a first-semester student from one of the two Master's degree programs "Railway Systems Engineering" or "Electrical Transport Systems" for the winter semester 2024/25. The scholarship holder will receive 750 euros per month.

Simultaneous application for study programme and scholarship

Applicants who apply for a place in one of the two Master's degree programs mentioned for the winter semester 2024/25 can also apply for the Rail Power Systems Scholarship at the same time. Applications are welcome from now on until August 15, 2024. To award the scholarship, the Faculty Council appoints a committee and nominates the chairperson.
