The digitisation of the railway is the focus of the conference from 7 to 10 September 2021 in Annaberg-Buchholz along the test track of the Erzgebirgsbahn. Interested parties can expect 14 workstreams for exchange and idea development with international experts.

The Digital Rail Convention from 7 to 10 September 2021 in Annaberg-Buchholz and along the test track of the Erzgebirgsbahn will enable participants to network in the field of digitalised mobility. In a unique way, the convention will cover everything from research and teaching to developments and practical applications of innovations to the enthusiasm of people in the region for innovative rail technologies.

Participants can expect varied days with a focus on the digitalisation of the railway with a lively exchange of ideas and applications. Up to 14 workstreams will be offered, where participants can contribute their ideas and develop new research projects or marketable ideas together with international experts in small teams. 

There will also be an exhibition area on research projects and digital applications in the railway system in action.
