How do you imagine transport and traffic of the future?
The current edition of the TUD video format "Sitzgelegenheit" asks transport students about their degree programmes and what appeals to them about mobility.
Seven students from the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences were interviewed by the TU Dresden (TUD) media team about their studies. They were:

- Sophie Krafzik, 11th semester Transport Engineering
- Natalia Lobko, 3rd semester Railway System Engineering
- Henrik Neun, 11th semester Transport Engineering
- Jasper Mörchen, 7th semester Transport Engineering
- Birte Pionteck, 7th semester Transport Engineering
- Hosea Winter, 7th semester Transport Engineering
"Why are trains always late?" or "Is it really true that you play model trains during your studies?"
These and other questions are answered and explained in the current edition of "Sitzgelegenheit". How does the degree programme prepare students for the mobility of the future and what resources are used at the faculty to better illustrate and understand this? For example, real railway operation processes are simulated in the railway operations laboratory. These include operating the signal box or solving faults that occur.
The questions were collected in advance via the TU Dresden's Instagram channel. The episode of the YouTube format was filmed in the Railway Operations Laboratory and in the flight simulator of the Gerhart Potthoff Building, where the students complete various internships during their studies.
