Greening Transport: bicycle traffic research at the International Transport Forum
Researchers from the Chair of Transport Ecology present current projects in the field of cycling research at the International Conference of Transport Ministers ITF.
Under the slogan "Greening Transport - Keeping focus in times of crisis", this year's International Conference of Transport Ministers takes place in Leipzig from May 22 to 24. At the most important event on global transport policy, the Chair of Transport Ecology, represented by Dr. Sven Lißner and Dr. Stefan Huber, will be presenting the transport research of the future in a BikeLab. The presentation stand, which is hosted by the Saxon Ministry of Economics, Labour and Transport, will provide insights into a variety of current research projects relating to transport planning, road safety, digitalization and data collection and processing in the traffic sector.
The International Transport Forum offers a good opportunity to talk to representatives from politics and society and to make new contacts. This year, five students from the Faculty of Transport Sciences will once again have the opportunity to attend the International Transport Forum, get to know the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as the host and network with transport students from the University of Paris.
