Academic self-administration and the associated commitment offer the opportunity to help shape the TUD Dresden University of Technology - especially in this election year. 428 positions in academic self-administration will be newly filled.

All approx. 40,000 eligible TUD members - both students and employees - are called to vote this year. For example, the employees of the Central University Administration only elect their representatives to the Senate and the Extended Senate every five years. University elections 2024 will be held for:

• all voting members of the Senate,
• all voting members of the Extended Senate,
• all members of the Faculty Councils,
• all members of the Divisional Councils,
• all members of the Scientific Councils of the CMCB and IHI Zittau and
• the 28 Equal Opportunities Officers of the faculties, departments and institutions and their deputies.
