The Chair of Automobile Engineering invites to the 3rd Dresden Automotive Symposium from October 1 to 2, 2025, at the Vehicle Test Center.
Idea-to-offering – in half the time? Short, efficient development processes in the automotive industry are currently a major challenge. International competition is challenging all global manufacturers to develop ever faster, more cost-effectively, more flexibly and more agilely. This is happening in the face of ever-increasing product complexity and growing regulatory requirements.
The 3rd Dresden Automotive Symposium (DDAS) offers a forum for discussion on the topic of increasing efficiency in the face of rising requirements in automotive engineering. From October 1 to 2, 2025, the Chair of Automobile Engineering invites interested specialists and executives to participate in the expert forum at the Vehicle Test Center (FVZ) of TU Dresden.
Participants can expect an extensive program of presentations by high-profile speakers, panels, and discussion forums on topics including:
- New methods in requirements engineering and target cascading
- Cost/risk management in V&V
- Agile engineering methods
- Attribute engineering for the software defined vehicle
- Virtual methods in type approval
- Generative AI in automotive development, V&V and type approval
- Verification and validation of total vehicle functions
- Mixed-reality testing
In addition, a “marketplace of ideas” offers the opportunity to engage in conversation with a wide range of exhibitors from the automotive industry: Bertrandt AG, FSD Zentrale Stelle nach StVG, HORIBA Europe GmbH, IAMT – Ingenieurgesellschaft für allgemeine Maschinentechnik mbH, IPG Automotive GmbH, NEXT Automotive Testing GmbH and tracetronic GmbH.
We would like to thank all sponsors of the Dresden Automotive Symposium 2025:
