A summer school at the TU Dresden deals with the topic of e-mobility. Six female researchers are providing specialist input, including Dresden transport and traffic scientist Prof. Regine Gerike.

Electromobility or e-mobility is a cornerstone of sustainable mobility. In order to enable the electric propulsion of vehicles, not only electric drive technologies are required, but also in-vehicle information and communication technologies as well as networked infrastructures. This forces scientists from different disciplines and fields to come together to develop optimised systems. The Summer School "Connecting Female Scientists" from 20 to 24 September 2021 at the High Voltage Lab of TU Dresden offers a forum for female scientists to exchange ideas on this fascinating topic.

At the Summer School, six internationally renowned female scientists will provide expert input. Among them is Prof. Regine Gerike, Head of the Chair of Integrated Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at TU Dresden. She will speak on the topic: "Transitioning towards greenhouse gas neutral transport systems with the help of electro mobility? Opportunities and risks in technology and behavioural change."
