At this year's international industry meeting for DC railway power supply, the Chair of Electric Railways at TU Dresden was represented with three speeches.

The dcrps took place in Leipzig on 28 and 29 April 2022. The conference was held in this format for the second time and is one of the largest conferences for DC-powered transport systems worldwide.

New developments and current research topics in the field of energy supply for electric rail and road vehicles were presented to a broad specialist audience from industry and research. The technical contributions to the individual lectures are published in the journal Elektrische Bahnen (eb).

The Chair of Electrical Railways of the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences was represented with no less than three papers and was thus able to make a valuable contribution to the conference:

  • The novel energy supply concept GUW+ (Dipl.-Ing. Felix Hüttig)
  • The electrification of heavy goods traffic on motorways using overhead lines (Dipl.-Ing. Markus Werner)
  • Economic evaluation of hybrid overhead line bus systems (Richard Kayser M.Sc.)
