Are you studying at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences and can you imagine continuing to work at the university after graduating?
With our digital information event "Is a doctorate the right thing for me?" we would like to awaken your interest in a doctorate (and the often associated work as a research assistant) at the faculty.
Professors and research assistants from various departments offer you the opportunity to exchange ideas, give you an insight into their everyday work and answer the following questions about doctoral studies:
- What are the reasons for doing a doctorate after graduating?
- How do I find a topic that suits me?
- How does a doctorate work and what formalities do I have to observe?
- What expectations are associated with a doctorate and what challenges will I face?
- What tasks await me as a research assistant?
