This week, the national STEM initiative “MINT Zukunft schaffen” e.V. held its awards ceremony for Saxony's STEM-friendly and digital schools.

Initiative MINT Zukunft e.V.

The national initiative “MINT Zukunft schaffen!” (Creating a Future with STEM) aims to get school students excited about STEM subjects and to motivate, support, and recognize schools in the field of STEM. In addition, the association works to increase the number of first-year students in STEM degree programs at universities in Germany, with a particular focus on increasing the proportion of women and ensuring and improving the quality of graduates from STEM degree programs and apprenticeships.

Together with the TU Dresden Schulkontaktstelle, we presented the faculty at the education fair and introduced our offers for schools. The education fair provided an opportunity to engage in conversation with school administrators, teachers, and pupils, to inform them about our range of courses, and to raise awareness of the topic of mobility and transportation among this important target group.

In addition to lectures, lab tours, and workshops on the mobility of the future, pupil can complete internships and scientific work at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences and find out about study programs. Those interested can find out more about our offers for schools on our website “Before Studying.
