Imagine your future employer coming to "your house" and introducing themselves - that's roughly how the faculty's own career fair "KontaktMesse Verkehr" (KMV) can be described. On 7 November it's that time again!

Organised by the faculty's alumni association, Spätverkehr e. V., the fair has been an important contact point for transport and traffic students at TU Dresden (and beyond) for more than 15 years to take their first career steps and make contacts in the working world.

This year, the fair will take place on Tuesday, 7 November, 10:30 am to 5pm. New in 2023 is the location of the fair: the Dülfer-Hall next to the Alte Mensa of the TU Dresden (Mommsenstraße 13). The entrance to the hall is at the side entrance of Alte Mensa, then use the first staircase up behind the entrance and enter the hall there.

47 very different companies from the diverse transport and traffic industry in the DACH region present themselves every year in November and come directly to the TU Dresden to make contact with potential young professionals. Whether it's the supervision of seminar papers or theses, internships, part-time jobs during studies or the first real employment contract - the companies have many offers in store. So it's worth stopping by!

47 exhibitors, speed dating at the Meet'n'Greet format - for students of all disciplines

All interested students are invited to visit the stands and talk to the company representatives. Many exhibitors already have former TU Dresden students working for them and often send them along to the KMV. They can tell you about their experiences and how it's easy to make the transition from studying to the working world.

Spätverkehr e. V. writes on its website: "The experiences of the last few years show that the KMV, as a trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics, takes place at eye level and successfully enables a target group-oriented approach to future employees."

With exactly 47 exhibiting companies, this year there are more companies than ever before represented at the fair. A sign of the great interest of employers in the (transport and traffic) students of TU Dresden. As a special offer, Spätverkehr e. V. is organising a speed-dating format called "Meet'n'Greet" to get into conversation with as many companies as possible in a short time. Interested parties can register until 27 October at meetngreet@spaetverkehr.de - detailed information on the procedure and the documents to be submitted can be found here on the page (below).

Another service is the KMV App. On the day itself, it offers an overview of all exhibitors, the venues (fair, speed dating, etc.) and services.

So open your calendar and make a note of "KontaktMesse Verkehr 2023" - your entry into the professional world of transport and traffic.
